Executive Director is a unique position in a small organization. You have lots of hats to wear and lots of promises to keep. You keep the mile high vision while running in the weeds in the day to day operations and mission delivery.

Executive Directors or CEOs occasionally need help adjusting to new and changing roles with donors, board members, board committees and staff and with identifying and setting priorities. This is particularly true when the new ED/CEO is expected to increase fundraising quickly or make significant organizational changes.

Board members often do not have the time and rarely have hands-on nonprofit management experience necessary for the kind of mentoring that’s needed. I provide management coaching on a retainer basis or, on a more limited project basis.

The most successful leaders have coaches and support systems to help them navigate successes and failures and the in-betweens.
